Brenda studied art at the University of Minnesota and is active in the local queer community. Raised in a restrictive environment, Brenda developed a deep appreciation for representation and self-expression. As an adult, she has learned to release the weight of family, cultural, and societal expectations, gaining confidence as she continues to explore and embrace her identity.
